FAMILY BACK GROUND:
Pricilla hails from a Christian Missionary
family & we are the 3rd generation of our family serving the Lord.
My grand father was a famous & great poet of
his times & wrote many Christian revival songs which can found in
Andhra kraistava keerthanalu.
My grand mother is the first woman who spoke
English during her era. She cared for the leprous people. She died
in 1990.
My father worked as a Program Producer cum
Script writer for 20 years for a Christian Broadcasting Studio which
broadcasted from FEBA Seychelles . He produced nearly 15,000
thousands scripts in Telugu & his radio teachings enlightened many
hundreds in bringing them to Christ. He is also the famous Gospel
singer & sang many hundreds of Christian songs & glorified God. He
died in 1986 due to heart attack.
My mother worked as a School teacher for a
Christian mission church school showing little kids to the right
path of Jesus & making them well studied. After her retirement, she
cared the old, aged neglected widows. She died in 2003.
LOCATION:
Mogalrajapuram is the Hindu people based area &
is one of the very vast areas in the Vijayawada city.-which is one
of the popular city in the state of Andhra Pradesh, South India.
Most of the people who live here, live on the
hill tops. These people are un-privileged & low caste people. They
are daily wage laborers who live below the poverty line. What they
earn is not even sufficient even to hand to mouth living. When there
is work, they at least have something little to eat. But, when there
is no work, it means no food to eat. They live in a small one roof
thatched houses.
