 Isaac Tohouegnon Clossou

Reaching the Very Remote in Benin, Africa

Isaac Clossou was 20 years old before he knew that the United States of America even existed. It is hard to understand what it is like growing up in an African village that did not even have radio stations. Today, Isaac is a pastor with many connections with the church in Benin. When he visited the Keel home in Virginia, in July of this year, he made a commitment to raise up a team of translators and workers to bring A Proverb a Day to Christian radio and to the remote villages of Benin.
 
Now, he wants Stephen Keel to travel to Benin to help establish A Proverb a Day there. Isaac already has good connections with Christian broadcaster in Benin. He is confident that he can form the necessary team to do the work.
 
We could have this significant project completed by April, if the finances appear soon.  It costs about $450 to fully produce each radio program episode in Africa. These episodes will also be produced as a scrolling text video on solar players. Financing for 30 episodes is needed to get started.
 

Isaac is committed to bringing the wisdom of Proverbs to his people. Since July 2009, he has worked to form a team to translate, edit and produce A Proverb a day in French.
